A Vancouver police officer shot and killed a man during a response to a 911 call about a neighbor dispute on August 19. The man was armed, and despite paramedics’ efforts, he died at the scene. The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. is now investigating the incident. No officers or civilians were injured.
