Dodobits LLP means the technology provider that licenses software and related assets for the Daily Dive mobile application.
Content means all text, images, audio, video, data, and other material made available on DailyDive.ca.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using DailyDive.ca, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that you accept and agree to comply with them. Your use of the Services constitutes your agreement to these Terms.

3. Scope of Services

Daily Dive provides a news and information platform focused primarily on original journalism relevant to Canadians. The Services include:

DailyDive.ca, the primary website where original journalism is published.
Tools and user interface functionality on DailyDive.ca that enable browsing, reading, sharing, and interaction with Content.

Third-party mobile applications (e.g., Daily Dive app available through app stores) may operate using licensed software provided by Dodobits LLP. These mobile applications may include additional features such as news aggregation or content discovery but do not affect or override the editorial independence of Daily Dive.

4. Use of Content

4.1 Permitted Use

You may:

View, download, or share Content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Share links to Content on other platforms.

4.2 Restrictions

Except as permitted above, you shall not:

Reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content without prior written permission.
Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) to collect or extract Content.
Use Daily Dive trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

5. Editorial Independence and Technology Licensing

Daily Dive is responsible for all editorial decisions regarding Content on DailyDive.ca.

The mobile application may be distributed through third-party services (e.g., app stores) and licensed technology provided by Dodobits LLP. Dodobits LLP:

Provides software and technology support only.
Does not have editorial control over the creation, selection, or publication of Content on DailyDive.ca.
Has no influence over journalistic decisions.

This Terms document does not transfer editorial control to any third party.

6. Accuracy of Information

While Daily Dive strives to ensure that all Content is accurate and up-to-date, we make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. You acknowledge that:

Content may be editorial, informational, or opinionated in nature.
You should verify any information before relying on it for important decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

All Content on DailyDive.ca, including text, images, logos, designs, and page layout, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Ownership remains with Daily Dive or its licensors.

The Services and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. Daily Dive disclaims all warranties including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Dive, Dodobits LLP, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your access to, or use of, the Services or Content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daily Dive, Dodobits LLP, and their affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of:

Your use of the Services;
Any breach of these Terms;
Any violation of applicable law by you.

Daily Dive may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in service, technology, or legal requirements. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law
